Post something cool in kit. Tag us. If we like it, ARO will send you a free Wrap.

How it works

  1. Do the thing. Skateboarding, lifting, racing, jumping out of a perfectly good airplane (static line jumps do not count — not trying to outfit the 82nd for free), whatever you're already good at.
  2. Be in kit. Plate carrier, duty belt, war belt, range rig — working gear. This means modesty. This includes a duty retention holster.
  3. Post it to Instagram. At the bottom of the webpage are images that much be used in your reel on Instagram. The image of the ARO Logo in white on a black background must be at the end of the reel for 1 full second and the image of the ARO Logo in White on a transparent background in a bottom corner of the reel for the duration of the awesomeness(image below), Collab with & Tag @aroproducts, use #AROFieldProgram, and put #gifted or #ad where it's visible in the caption. Both hashtags are required — the program tag is how we track you; the #gifted tag is the legal disclosure required by the FTC.
  4. Tell us. Apply at [contact@aroproducts.com] and include a screenshot of your live post showing the caption with your disclosure visible — not cropped, not expanded from "more." We need to see what a normal viewer sees.
    No screenshot, no Wrap.
  5. We ship. If we accept, you get one free ARO Wrap in the fitment of your choice, shipped free in the US. international rates depend, but subject to our discretion; cooler/bettter performing content = more likely to have free shipping.

Before you post — check your rules

IMPORTANT: If you're active duty, a reservist, a sworn officer, a federal agent, or a contractor:

  • Most branches and departments have rules about using your uniform, your gear, or your job to promote a company.
  • Some have rules about accepting anything free from a vendor.
  • Those rules are yours to know, not ours. We can't advise you on them or even be expected to know them.

By applying, you're telling us you checked and you're clear. If your policy says no, please don't apply — we'd rather lose a post than get you counseled, flagged, or worse. If you're not sure, ask your ethics counselor, PIO, or supervisor first.

Don't wear anything that identifies your specific agency or unit. Cover the patch, cover the badge, cover the nametape. Generic kit only. This protects you and it keeps us from implying that your department endorses us. They don't.

What we're looking for

You already do the thing. We are not asking you to try something new for a $55 part.

Real gear, real skill, good camera work.

You own a duty holster, or you're getting one. The Wrap mounts to the holster chassis — if you don't have a compatible holster, the Wrap won't do anything for you.

What we won't accept

  • Anything that looks unsafe or that broke a law to film.
  • Poor muzzle discipline or unsafe firearm handling. Instant no.
  • Political content, anything hateful, anything targeting a group.
  • Content that implies your agency, unit, or department is being involved.

Any claim that ARO gear saves lives, treats injuries, or is medical equipment. The Wrap is a mounting platform. It holds things. Don't say it does more than that.

Anything that isn't yours, or that includes people who didn't agree to be filmed.

When you post, say it's incentivized

The FTC requires it. Put #gifted or #ad in the caption — visible, not buried under thirty other tags, not hidden behind "more." Do this even before we've shipped, because you're posting to earn something.

#AROFieldProgram is how we find you. It is not a disclosure — it doesn't tell anyone you got something free, so it doesn't count on its own. Use both.

Leave the post up for 90 days. Don't delete it and don't quietly edit the disclosure out after we've shipped. If either happens inside 90 days, we can ask for the Wrap back or bill you for it. After 90 days it's yours to do whatever you want with.

What we get

When you post and tag us, you're giving us permission to reuse that content — organic posts, our website, and paid ads — along with your handle and how you appear in it. You keep ownership of your content. We just get to use it. You can ask us to stop using it going forward at any time by emailing contact@aroproducts.com; we'll pull it from anything still running.

The fine print

  • 18+
  • One Wrap per person.
  • We decide who gets accepted, and we don't have to explain why.
  • This isn't a contest or a sweepstakes. There's no drawing, no entry fee, no prize. It's a rewards program with published criteria.
  • You do what you do at your own risk. We aren't telling you to attempt anything.
  • We can change or end this program whenever. This is program is ARO taking a chance to generate content and media by partnering with cool people doing cool things; it's a new idea and it may not work or be profitable, so ARO has to reserve the right to end this program whenever.
  • Not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by Instagram or Meta.
