Install Instructions
The ARO Wrap is designed to wrap around retention holsters, allowing users to attach their chosen accessories with ease and minimal weight or bulk.
Before you begin, make sure your firearm is removed from your holster and is unloaded according to your firearm manufacturer’s instructions.
Begin with a clear space on a table. You will need a corresponding tool to remove the bolts from your retention holster; usually an allen key. These are often provided by your holster manufacturer at the time of purchase.
Turn your holster such that the bolts are face up on the table. As you remove the bolts, make note of bolt and spacer locations - you will need to reinstall these later. Keep any washers or other hardware with their respective bolt.
While keeping note of the holster’s hardware locations, set them to the side.
Bring your Wrap in front of you and install your desired accessories prior to installing the Wrap on the holster. Follow the installation instructions of your accessory manufacturers; the Wrap is compatible with MOLLE PALs webbing based and screw/bolt fastener based accessories common within the industry.
Before installing the wrap, ensure that any pouches on the Wrap are empty as this will make cinching the Wrap around the holster easier.
Set the Wrap such that the accessories face down and place the holster on top such that the hardware side is facing up.
Cinch the Wrap around the holster, folding the ends over each other. Line up the Wrap’s holes with the holes for your holster hardware. Place your belt hardware on top of the holster and Wrap as you align the holes. Hold the Wrap tightly as you reinstall the holster hardware; be sure to not cross the threads. Hand tighten bolts, ensuring they are not cross-threaded. Once all bolts are installed, rotate the holster to the side to get a better grip.
Loosen the bolts slightly and squeeze the Wrap as tight as possible, hold it steady, then retighten the bolts. You will want to repeat this step after the first 48 hours following installation; the Tegris material will have taken a slight, temporary set and you will be able to cinch it tighter after this 48 hours. Getting the Wrap tighter will result in a better product experience.
